Branners
My wife took out my pride and joy, my Citroen Xantia Estate and drove it to the shops. She then drove home and when she stopped a huge cloud of steam came out the back of the car and a yellow fluid has leaked down the road. Im at my parents at the moment so cant check whats wrong but has anybody heard of a Xantia doing that before? I believe it might be one of the hydraulic globes that has failed, so has anybody ever had one of those replaced? So now Im going to have to drive the Supra day to day until the citroen is fixed. which is just awful. JB

Soonto_HAS_soop
Greeny yellow fluid on those, LHM fluid. I think that the globes are a simple twist off and twist on affair but if the fluid has come from the centre of the car, then I would expect it to be from the rear, as I think they are in the centre of the car at the back. Or it could be the pump at the front, but that would most likely be collected in the undertray.
