where is the air sensor located

If you're talking about the MAF sensor or AFM, whatever you want to call it. It all depends if your car is UK spec or J-Spec.

 

Basically the UK spec cars have got one (where you expected it,) and the J-Spec cars haven't. They use a MAP sensor (none too surprisingly fitted to the inlet manifold) instead ;)

Unless of course your a Jpec VVT-i, which is situated in the same place as the UK's...... ;)

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I've just picked up my 1st supra, and it's got a filter on it but no IAT or wiring coming from any of the inlet pipes. There are two connectors, where the airbox would have been but there's nothing connected to them. Would this normally bring up the EML? also would I be loosing power if this is not connected?
