R Black
Not the answer you want, but i do know the UK spec holds more than the jspec.

Sheefa
I filled mine up last night to the full with Optimax and 'one click' on the pump. Thought to myself, ahhh, normally you try a put a bit more in til it clicks again which the pump did after about 2 more seconds of flow. After that, I pulled out the pump and fuel shot out my tank all over me, a good 2 litres I reckon, all over my new hoody and D&G jeans! I did laugh, but I frikking stink still. Not enough in answer to the question for a J-spec! Greg

Just remember to stand to the side and fill it more slowly next time. And be thankful it wasn't nasty diesel
Thorin
I know I've put 65 litres in before which was cutting it close, I seem to remember Ian C beat me and got 67 in there
Scoboblio
I'm sure that from when the pump first clicks off I can fit about 10 litres more in with very patient filling. Just don't try doing it when there're a million cars waiting.
Sheefa
Thanks Steve! Luckily I was in a secluded filling spot on the left so nodoby saw, except I nearly stacked it walking away through the fuel! I shall exercise caution next time! chris burford
80 litres uk, and 70 j spec;) That is some big tank 80 litres, if you stop to think how much 80 litres actually weighs i wonder how many mpg you lose when you have a full tank not to mention performance especially if you have a passenger as well. Id be inclined just to keep the tank half full thats allways enough for a spirited drive unless you have a big single lol.
sdavies
I think I managed to ram approx 65 litres into a JSpec tank when it was on the lowest I have dare run it (more than likely a bit in the tank, bot not too much I belive). I guess time of year you do it may make a difference
Wez
If I fill it with only 60ltrs I would have to use 3 bottles of millers CVL turbo
smithaldo
Here's a tip. When your filling the tank right to the brim on the actual nozzle there's a round rubber bit at the tip which can be moved down over the entrance of the petrol tank. So if the off chance that the petrol does spit back out it won't actually spray over you, hitting the round rubber bit instead of you. It amazes me that not many people actually realise that that's what it's there for.
