Sheefa
Martin, Probably two power connectors mate for the card, could be a typical molex, or the more specific AGP power 4 pint square plug iirc. PSU power has to be moderate to obviously power the card. You'll need a good 450watt to be fair to run games etc these days, dual hdds and other hardward components. AGP/PCI-Express and maybe even the old dreaded PCI slot cards are your options, PCI-E being the latest mate, but you'll need a PCI-E mobo for that Clear? Give me a shout if you want to find a decent card for 'your' system buddy. Greg
RedM
I have PCI-E and I know which card I want (Nvidia 7600GT) but what I'm not clear on is if it'll work without having to buy some supplementary hardware.
imi
I've just checked the specs of the AGP version of the 7600GT. AGPx8 & DVI outputs. I am still running VGA and AGPx4

RedM
How do I find out what wattage my PSU is? I can't find anything on the brand website and the PC Pro review has vanished.

Sticker on the back of the PSU? or you might have to take the side of the case off as it might be underneath the PSU.
RedM
300w. Hmm, the 7600GT box says this is the minimum needed. Any thoughts?
Thorin
300w. Hmm, the 7600GT box says this is the minimum needed. Any thoughts? How many hard discs/cd-rom's etc you have in your PC. I would think 300w would be ok assuming 1 hard disc and a dvd drive if it states that as a minimum, but you're probably best getting a 450w one or something. RedM
I have one hard disc, a dvd-rom, a dvd-rw and a partridge in a pear tree. I don't fancy getting into buying new stuff to go with purchases I don't really need.
