bondango
What will be the best to run 1000cc injectors? Dual Walbros are enough to flow 1000cc's. Its also the most cost effective route. One is pently to flow 550cc's. You could go for an external pump setup but you talking a bigger overhead in your fuel system price.
Jake
His (vague) question was about fuel pumps.
bondango
Yep jake, did re-read it as my Vauge contact with the real world seems to be bad today lol
captainchaos
WAL GSS34 would this be the right pumps?
Wez
Think its the 342 you are after, there is a 341 which has the fuel outlet in a slightly different position. Someone else should be able to confirm. As for your original question, what fuel pump for 1000cc injectors, any pump will run them it more a case of what your flow requirements are ie power etc. The above pump will flow enough on its own for approx 550hp, a single Bosch 044 pump should be good for 650hp or more. bondango
GSS342 j-spec, GSS341 UK Spec IIRC. Deffinately a few different setups to consider. Keep the original or repace it with a wlabro and use it to prime a Swirl pot and use an Bosch External. Key also is fuel pressure, and although your on 1000cc squiters which are enough for 1000+bhp will you ever be running them at full tilt? a single walbro should handle the 600hp area. 2 x walbros flow a lot of juice, if going that route it may be an idea to get a boost switch and relay setup done so that the second pump only comes online when your above a set boost setting. Most peope just run the 2 pumps in parrallel and dont have any problems, though some have had problems with the wiring as the current draw on the 2 pumps was a bit much. Theres a few decent diagrams for dual pump wiring and setup around, will see if i can dig one out.
