LeeT
Do you think they will be able to reflash the existing units? This ECU is going to be the best bang for buck on the market
tDR
Do you think they will be able to reflash the existing units? This ECU is going to be the best bang for buck on the market No, it's in the FAQ's that the existing units cant be reflashed / upgraded in any way to make them a MAP2. Built in EBC with boost vs. RPM and target boost sounds excellent. Almost justifies the cost of a MAP2 for someone like me that doesn't presently have an EBC. Cheers, Brian. rob wild
These look at really good piece of kit certainly save some money if your going bpu++ or single considering what i paid for my AVCR and Greddy Ultimate + harness + pressure sensor etc
Alex
Can anyone tell me if the MAP ECU has FIXED rpm and load sites or customisable ones...so as I wouldn't want it to be mapped up to 10000rpm I could have more resolution lower down. The version i had was Fixed, maybe the updated version will allow customisation
GeordieSteve
Who maps these ECU's in this country?
bondango
Steve anybody capable of mapping should be able to it up. Theres plenty of base maps available, and the mapping and logging software is free. I would say the biggest Benefit of this system is to UK spec owners. full speed density conversion (MAP), though it can be a bit of a bitch to setup, timing control that in theory should work (still aint got to the bottom of the EMB problems). and the other features such as boost control, antlag etc etc make the cake that bit sweeter..definately considering a piece myself.. GeordieSteve
That sounds like a good answer I'm J spec but this would be a good option for me at the mo as I'm not looking for HUGE power. Taa
