Paul
If full Toyota service history does make it easier to sell then what about saving thousands over the time you own the car by having it serviced at a decent specialist. We can all agree that Toyota rip you off price wise, and then knock some of that saving off the price of the car as that too will make it easier to sell;)
Gordon F
If full Toyota service history does make it easier to sell then what about saving thousands over the time you own the car by having it serviced at a decent specialist. We can all agree that Toyota rip you off price wise, and then knock some of that saving off the price of the car as that too will make it easier to sell;) Well the last 3 'A' services were around £90 each, 'B' service was £200 and 'A' service with timing belt and front pads (jap) was £350. I provide the engine oil and brake fluid. If anyone can save me thousands in service bills please get in touch.
Scooter
Its horses for courses really, Gordon is fortunate enough to have an understanding and it appears good customer service orientated local dealer. He may pay a little more than a good independant but he is happy that the work is being done and to an adequate standard..........thats all any of us are after a bit of security/faith in whoever it is that's doing the work..... blitz supra
Personally i just use a good independent But with the exception of Subaru most good main dealers now Mitsubishi in Particular (25 % of their UK parts holding is for imports) are geared up to service and supply parts for imports, Most now have all the CD's for parts, and servicing is no different to UK Cars, sometimes though some garages may not have all the software to read all fault codes though. Imports have been around now since 95 in the main market, so all this scare mongering about Parts supply issues and servicing is untrue, It was a case the Dealers over here had no option but to get on the import bandwagon, this in return is why insurance is no longer expensive either
