pistonbroke
My supe seems to be noticibly quicker now the weather has got a lot colder, is it just down to the denser air, or is it a sign that my intercooler is not as efficient as it should be when the weather is warmer ? Gaz6002
cooler air = more dense, hence more air into cylinders and better performance Bit slippery to be giving some though unless you like that sort of thing!
geoffvalenti
Mine's a lot slower. It just sits on the spot spinning it's wheels TBH, as Gaz says, its a bit more slippery than you'd like, to be giving the car a lot of stick, unless you want to smack it into a lamp post
pistonbroke
No, its not like that, I noticed it on half throttle that the car picks up a lot faster, seems the turbos are spooling earlier too. I'm certainly not giving it the beans though, I rarely do that even when its dry, even after 9 months of ownership she scares the crap out of me occasionaly

hogmaw
Cold air = better performance BUT slippery roads Warm air = worse performance BUT dry roads So when is the optimum time to drive?
