MrHanky Posted December 22, 2006 Share Posted December 22, 2006 Hi just thinking about getting a new exhaust and wanted some advice regarding the above mentioned exhaust. Having read a few other threads about exhausts I was under the impression that the Silent Hi power was quite a quiet exhaust, but yesterday I stumbled across a sound clip on the Mkiv stores support & download section of this exhaust. To me this did not sound too quiet. Is it actually as load as it is on the sound clip or is this just misleading. tooquicktostop Posted December 22, 2006 Share Posted December 22, 2006 My car goes into Turbo fit on 3rd jan and I am having a new exhaust made by them, I will have a very nice polished HKS exhaust for sale once they have taken it off, dont know exactly which HKS it is but it is nice and quiet on tick over and cruise with a great noise on WOT, if you are interested I could get them to keep it for you for the right price Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am actually after something a bit louder to be honest, I currently have some kind of HKS on mine (not sure what tbh). I was just listening to the sound clip on the Mkiv stores site and it sounded brilliant, but what im not sure about is if it is actually as loud as I think it is.
