auto box .

Check the level in the auto box.

 

Warm the car up, pull handbrake on, put car into drive, then down to L, then hold for few seconds, then press manual button and move to position 2, hold for a few seconds, then position D, hold again, then up to reverse, then back to neutral. with engine still running, check the fluid level for the autobox on the dipstick. Make sure the car is warmed up though, it makes a difference with autobox oil.

 

Then report back on your findings.

just got this message fella i'll try what ya said and report back but it may not be till tomorrow now .

Did as said in the above quote and found that the fluid was on the low marker of the hot point . topped it up and seems to feel abit better , i shall check it again in a few days when its had a few miles to run round and top up again if required .

 

cheers buddie didn't relise i had to have the engine running to do this check .
