Matt _Aero top_
I've noticed my sup isn't holding on hills as much as it used to lately when its in drive . Is there anything that can be done ? Or when on a flat or flatish ground when i release the brake it doesn't creep forward as much as it used to . Matt _Aero top_
funny you should say that . it does seem to have dropped slightly it around the 600 mark but only every now and again . It was ticking over really low the other week but and the o/d light started flashing then the big red triangle came on , so i did the code 42 fix and thats where i am today . pistonbroke
Check the level in the auto box. Warm the car up, pull handbrake on, put car into drive, then down to L, then hold for few seconds, then press manual button and move to position 2, hold for a few seconds, then position D, hold again, then up to reverse, then back to neutral. with engine still running, check the fluid level for the autobox on the dipstick. Make sure the car is warmed up though, it makes a difference with autobox oil. Then report back on your findings.

Did as said in the above quote and found that the fluid was on the low marker of the hot point . topped it up and seems to feel abit better , i shall check it again in a few days when its had a few miles to run round and top up again if required . cheers buddie didn't relise i had to have the engine running to do this check . pistonbroke
If the level is down, check for leaks, I believe the rear prop seal is the one to watch for.
