Sheefa
So everyone wishes me luck for today and then this happens! How the feck do I get her out? Tried 2 planks which have now been burried with gravel and are stuck (see string) and engaged L Drive and Reverse geer. Tried turning full lock and she's burried herself. Before you ask, I didn't take her onto the gravel for some 'fun', I had to reverse her into my garage to do some work. Then I got stuck. I told my sodding old dears it was a bad idea to gravel half the drive! This is a great day! I'm such a plank. Help! Greg
RobSheffield
My advice would be to sell the car and buy something less demanding Can you get someone to push it out while you put it in reverse with no revs at all
Sheefa
Thanks Rob! I'm beginning to agree! Nobody is home. I think I'm going to get my bro down here and use his Landy to tow the fucker out. The gravel is wet and has a coat of icing on it, so no traction at all!!!!! SupraStar 3000
Just wished you good luck on the other thread. That was a waste Throw grass seed around the car and wait for summer. Them just drive out. Easy Don't go mad mate, those skirts and spats are easily damaged
ManwithSupra
I found that last time waterlogging the stones with a hose worked for me before - dont know why.

Guest CoolsBlue
if you are worried about the skirts and spats, just remove them, better than taking a risk of smashing them
Ian W
if you are worried about the skirts and spats, just remove them, better than taking a risk of smashing them it's not quite that easy mate.
Chris Wilson
Tow or winch it out backwards, or use a large heavy piece of old carpet under the wheels. Try with the handbrake on lightly, acts as a crude LSD. When it's out sell it....
Sheefa
LOL Thanks guys (don't take the piss Chris! ) She's out now. Going to bury my mums car when that's back. The old digging routine worked the best, shovelled a load of gravel from underneath and that was good enough to see her through. The gravel is a right mess now. Right, time for a break! Cheers, Greg
Underworld
Theyve put too much gravel down eh
Sheefa
Far too sodding much mate! I asked them why the hell they didn't pave the whole lot, they replied "We haven't got the money unless you want to bloody pay". Fair point, but here's why a few extra pounds saves a lot of hassle. Of course, it's not their car so they don't care!

Pete
PMSL! Sorry Greg, but I can't help laughing. I did the same with a hire car in Greece. Drove it into the sand. Still, it was a good excuse to hang around the beach bar for a few hours Also got a fork lift stuck in gravel once...tried to pull it out with my 1.0 Nova. That didn't turn out so good.
