Wez
On the way home I did some motorway pulls and at first glance my EGT look approx 50-100deg C lower at top end.
TrickTT
I'm coming to watch if the weather is ok, but if my helmet happens to fall into the back of my car, perhaps someone would be kind enough to let me be a passenger for a lap or 10;)
uk-rich
On the way home I did some motorway pulls and at first glance my EGT look approx 50-100deg C lower at top end. thats a good improvement
Wez
These figures are from the peak hold on my EGT, I need to do some more testing but the weather is crap and dont really want to be doing 4th and 5th gear pulls in the rain. I need to hook the laptop up to check inlet temps as well.
Mike B
Just seen this on a rover forum I frequently go on.I think they are tomcat cup cars. Anyway you get a good look at the track on the video, might be handy for those going. http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=8892904298855481236&hl=en-GB Good to see the track, Dare I say there are a few egos driving around that track though. Don't fancy putting my nose into people's blind spots to try and squeeze past. I think the TVR guy had the right idea, have your fun in the wide open spaces... it's not as if you are late for a job! Wez
From memory Bookatrack are pretty strict on stuff like that, anyone seen to be pestering other drivers will be warned and if they continue they get removed from the track.
Chris Wilson
Overtaking STRICTLY by consent and positive action ONLY. They are ultra strict, anyone who flounts this gets sent home. It may sound sad, but it makes for a much safer environment, with cars of vastly different performance, weight and driver experience all out together. When you are in a carbon eggshell a ton and half of Supra is very intimidating
Wez
Chris the brakes feel so much better, thanks.
Chris Wilson
Chris the brakes feel so much better, thanks. Not a problem, just remember these are FAST ROAD pads, not a race pad, and Donington is hard on brakes, but thankfully for you it's not on the International circuit, which is probably the UK's most severe test of circuit car brakes. Caveat emptor...
Wez
Its ok as I am driving, I doubt the brakes will get that much of a beating
