colsoop
Did anyone catch the grizzly man progam on Discovery ? it was on yesterday and is being repeated now. About a guy that documents the lives of bears but unlike other wildlife film makers got up close and personal with them. Quite sad though as i think the guy isn't all there, he gets some amazing footage and some really wonderful scenes but eventually or inevitabely he was killed by a bear. It is worth a watch. Bought this on DVD about 6 months ago, meant to be really good. I did try and watch it but I fell asleep! Nothing to do with the documentary itself might I add, I was just knackered. He is a bit mad from what I remember though.
JohnA
I watched that DVD months ago. Initially he looks like a nature-loving nutter. In the end you realise what a loser that guy was - he was pestering the bears, pretending to be some sort of self-appointed 'savior' He was living illegally in the national park, food (and women!) flown in undercover, living off the publication of his moronic diary. He was lucky not to have been eaten long ago. Interesting story though.
