wheel widths etc

ok, i'm thinking about getting some new wheels, am I right in thinking they should be 8.5" wide on the front and 9.5" wide on the back, also can anyone tell me the correct offset?

8.5J +45 fronts, 9.5J +45 rears are a good size. Alternatively 10J +45 rears fit the arches without modification as well. My new rims (no fitted yet) are 8.5J +38 9.5J +37 which will push the wheels out a few mil, which I need as Im fitting overfenders front and rear.

Try this offset calculator, it will let you compare your stock wheels with aftermarket widths and offsets.
