As those vet bills can be darned expensive (lol) Cheers Ian My parents Alsation needed an operation at around 4 months as his tibia was out-growing his fibia (or the other way round, can't remember), so they had to break his fibia and pin it in position to prevent any long term serious injuries. They hadn't taken insurance out for him by then and I think it cost them a few hundred. He still walks with a slight limp today, but he doesn't seem to notice/care!
