Guest marshy
Hi there, I guess that seeing as you've used your first post here to try and help me out, the least I can do is offer you a warm welcome to the club and naturally say thanks for your help in raising awareness regarding my car. Not sure if you own a Supra yourself, if you do you'll find this a really helpful place to be a member of and even if you don't and just have an interest in Supras then there's plenty of info on here regarding them. Any ideas / suggestions where in Bradford may be a good place to have a search around?. cheers mate, nah i dont own a supra couldnt afford it lol!! i own a escort and was made aware of this by bradfordcruise.com.if you know bradford..you could try holmewood, bierley and surrounding fields,ie tong school/yorkshire martyrs fields, down the lanes heading towards holme wood its a woods.. and new lane.. i generally am about round holmewwod so will keep eyes peeled for you...oh and try west and east bowling and some asian areas(theyre stupid enough to still drive about in them..) no offence to anyone ,but round here they are..the twoccers
womble
HURRAH !!!! Got a call this afternoon from the Police. My car has been found safe and well in Stanningley, Leeds. Damage is minimal, limited (as far as they can see) to the drivers door lock and ignition. I really can't begin to tell you all what a releif this is as it was really annoying me and as much as I tried to forget about it and just get on with things (being v busy at work has helped no end) it just kept on playing on my mind. Where is my car?, is it burt out?, being stripped down? etc etc. Naturally I'd like to say a big thank you to all the moderators and members on here for their support, well wishes, and offers of help. It really is appreciated and truly helped me to keep my chin up. I've seen many a post on here over the years saying what a great forum this is and whilst I've never doubted it this was an exemplary example of a caring comunity. I wish you all the absolute best of christmases and New Years, two things which I too will now be able to enjoy. Time for a pint me thinks . RedM
What fantastic news. Really, really pleased for you. Ooh, it's like a proper Xmas feelgood movie. Are you going to come to a meet or two? Would be nice to meet you after all this. Oh, and if the thief doesn't do a stretch, maybe we could arrange for him to be guest of (dis)honour at his own private owners club meet. Somewhere out of the way, if you know what I mean.
