I have Mintex and Performance Friction and Pagid compounds at £120 a set plus P&P. A BIG saving on even trade price. All brand new and untouched. Jspec Germany Posted November 23, 2007 Share Posted November 23, 2007 Chris, what do you recommend for daily driving with occasional high speed autobahn blasts and 6-8 weekends over the summer at the Ring? I've heard the 3000s will eat rotors quickly and produce a lot of dust that will eat nice wheels. I don't have a set of track wheels. PF dust is pretty harmless, I have never had reports of it sintering into the wheel finish. 93 and 01 compounds are very similar for what you wish to do. they won't have too much bite, nor are any of the PF compounds particularly disc aggressive. I've purchased a bit of upgrades since last time and I won't be on bald tires either. LOL. That said, I wish it was a manual, then I'd be leaving you in the first 6 turns.
