Big Brakes

Interested in prices and what advantage these would have over j-spec, would I be disapointed or should I go B.I.G.:)

Advantage is UK brakes are bigger so will dissapate heat better than our smaller J-spec brakes, so repeated 'spirited' applications of the brake pedal sould see less/no brake fade when compared to J-Spec brakes. Smaller brakes are not really an issue unless you're either braking from very high speeds or repeatedly working the brakes pretty hard - the porblem is you'll only find out how far you can push them by pushing them too far, lol.

Nic, any chance you could post up what a "good price" is please?

I can supply new brakes for the following prices.

Front 4 pot calipers, shim kit and fitting kit = £385 including airmail to UK (2-3 days) or £355 including surface post to UK (4-5 weeks) IN STOCK

Rear 2 Pot calipers and fitting kit = £385 including airmail to UK (2-3 days) or £355 including surface post to UK (4-5 weeks). NEED TO ORDER

Front and Rear calipers = £750 including airmail to UK (2-3 days) or £700 including surface post to UK (4-5 weeks).

Discs are very heavy and expensive to post, so better to buy there. I can also supply pads if needed (TRD, Project MU, Endless, etc.)

Steve,

I might have UK Fronts and Rears for sale in a couple of weeks or so.

That is Everything, Calipers, Discs, Pads..........

Let me know if your interested.

Argh, yes I'm very interested but if(?) your sale is time-dependant I will struggle to get the cash together mate. Also I'd need to know what state they're in etc... :)

Put me down as 'interested'

I'm not sure I'd 100% trust second hand brakes TBH

You know that just doesn't make any sense at all. You buy a second hand car no problems. That car has not got brand new brakes on it but you'd trust them???? Obviously you would be carefull after fitting them to test them in a safe way but why brakes would be untrustworthy just because they are not new baffles me

Yeah I know, I guess if they're ok then they're ok...

Anyway I'm interested in Toms so I've already gone back on my word lol.
