Elliot
Hey folks My Supe's speedo etc is all in KM. I think it was imported around 1996, and I guess it's never been converted to MPH. Maybe it had a sticker chucked over it for the test or something. Were the SVA rules different back then? I'm pretty certain they need to be converted now when cars are imported. Is there any legal obligation on me to have a speedo in MPH? Just wondering whether it would be a problem if I got pulled or whatever. Any have / had the same? matt
It wasn't(/isn't?) a requirement for personal imports
Need4Speed
You need a DSC from TRL Performance which will sort all your km/h to mph problems.
dangerous brain
If they went to the trouble of opening it all up to wedge a sticker on the dial then chances are very high they put a converter of some sorts in. Some converters are not as reliable as others so maybe yours is now not working. I am not sure if you legally need a speedo but it is an idea to know how fast you are going.
