Guest gzaerojon
hmm, I'm not sure if laptops have an internal aerial or not, but it sounds like it's unplugged? maybe it runs around the inside of the screen?

Soonto_HAS_soop
Internal wireless uses an internal aerial, maybe they didn't reconnect it or something. I always use a PCMIA (Think that it) card, as it give much better coverage.

Pabs
internal wireless card will probably be inside a small, almost credit-card sized flap on the bottom of the laptop. I SAY PROBABLY - it might be under the keyboard. The card will have 2 wires running from it, both along one edge. Both of these wires are the antenna's. One is Main, one is AUX. Make sure both of these are attached. They probably attach to antenna's either in/near the screen hinges, or run up along either side of the laptop screen.
