It's not racist for me to say this because it's true. I used to sell kitchens for a living and the only people that would really (really, really) try to haggle on the price were asian folks. I don't mean east asian folk (chinese, korean, etc) I mean Indian, bangladeshi, pakistani etc - it's just their way. It must be a PITA to be a salesman in Leicester or Bradford though! Its very true there are loads of asians who have ££££'s but dont like to spend it. If i had loads id spend it all (as i do) but some people just want to take it all to their graves. My dad used to have a second hand bookshop (yeah, one previous owner etc etc) and he'd get Asian people come in and rummage through the '10p a book' section. They'd choose one, my dad would say "That's ten pence, please" and they'd fucking haggle! He often used to literally through the book at them.
