Paul Booth
As mine has never worked, how do you know it doesn't come down at speed? I'm guessing it's a 'active' light. I'll also betting they suffer a weakness in whatever has made yours pack up and mine previously.
mrpug106
your right the active light by the switch, has stopped coming on,and its not the bulb coz someone has watched out for the spoiler to work at speed. Lance.
Paul Booth
If anyone's got a spoiler ECU they want to donate for research, I promise it will be returned as-is. There just can't be much in there that a PIC chip can't do with some support from a few power trannies.
Phil Wall
Is it worth the effort? Does the spoiler do any thing any way?
Paul Booth
I believe not, I'm told not. You're right, forget it; I had a rush of blood to the head.

On my Supra you could definately tell the car was more stable at 120+MPH when it was lowered.
Guest Ash
Paul, you should try the cream. It's absorbed much more slowly. Yours, J

francesca
There's a thought - should I go for the jabs or the cream? Probably need a double dose (or maybe not..!) Erm.. I haven't got a spoiler active or inactive, just a Veilside type nose... (I suspect we are about to get a savage moderating...)
Pog
This might be useful if anyone is not sure whether it is just a bust light or whether the active spoiler is not working. I have just tried mine as I am getting used to all of the new buttones etc. If you leave the door open while parked up and put the spoiler down you can actually hear it moving. - beats your pal looking out of the back window at 60+ on the motorway ;-)
matt
I thought my spoiler was broken when I first got it .... it would go down when stationary but didn't seem 2 go down at speed with the button pressed in Then one day I noticed the spoiler light come on with the button not pressed in ...... phoned my m8 (going the same route ) and he confirmed it workin It may have been a glitch with mine but the switch didn't work as I thought it would.... Then the IC blew and I replaced with FMIC........ leavin no room for the active bit of the spoiler.......
