milocoon
I just had a pair of Michelin Pilot Sport 2 245/45 Y 17 fitted to my TT for £300 all in. The wife had 2 Dunlop Sport 205/55 V16 SP2050 fitted for £100.44 all in. A little bonus which I`ve not experienced before is they clean all your alloys free as well afterwards. Chemical Spray then power wash off. Ask for Phillip at Mike Knight Tyres, St Andrews Road, Avonmouth, Bristol 0117 9380002 mention that a Supra owner recommended you and he`ll do anyone here a good deal. They use proper pro trolly jacks so no damage to your sill jacking points !
Pot
Are they your fronts?... Out of interest, how do you (Or anyone think) the Michelins compare to Toyo Proxy T1-R's at £100 each (For 255/40/17's)
milocoon
The front tyres (Dunlops) were for my wifes Renault Laguna Sport, to be honest I`ve only ever used Premium brand rubber on high performance cars and I`ve been more than happy with the limits the Michelin Pilots allow, you can save £40 a tyre if you choose a Toyo. I believe you`ll get more miles out of a Michelin tyre so that offsets the cost a bit. When I`ve found a good value business that treats a customer very well I`m happy to pass on the info here, I reckon this dealer is focused in the right direction. I`ve never ever had my alloy wheels cleaned for me after a tyre change. If you want your car hand washed from a £5 they`ll do that as well.
