I'd like to see it in relation to the car (with stock front), but can't get it down unless I'm at 100mph, and I have no way of knowing what it looks like otherwise. Class One Posted December 14, 2006 Share Posted December 14, 2006 Never had an issue with speed humps, but then I could raise/lower mine on the fly. Must have been the way it was wired in. A handy tip for those with lowered front ends/speed humps. When approaching the hump slow right down and brake really firmly just a you approach, then lift off the brakes and your front end will raise and at the same time apply a bit of throttle to drive over the bump and that keeps the front up too. Manual will mean completely manual. Check out mkiv.com - there is an article on this - i think you need to disconnect the pink speed wire that goes into the active spoiler ECU. r1george Posted December 15, 2006 Share Posted December 15, 2006 This is mine with the spoiler down, same as the rest really just wanted to show my car off!! I tried disconnecting the connection below the head light when the spoiler was down, it stayed down but the big red warning light on the dash stays on permenantly also you can't retract it if you need to. I think I heard somewhere you have to have the spoiler down permenantly if you fit a FMIC as all the workings get in the way.
