DaveK
Last week, I went to France for 3 days. I admit it was not in the Supra, because I didn't want to put up with the nervous / bouncy handling for 1000 miles. The trip down there was excellent and (as far as I know) incident free. The trip back was less excellent and I went through a french speed camera on the motorway at roughly 100mph. Any votes on what will happen? Will they decide English pig has to pay big fine? Could they take it through UK courts (I doubt this) and actually issue points? Or will they just think that it's Christmas and I deserve to get away with it (or more likely they can't be arsed to contact the UK police)? Pot
Knowing our Government, they'll open up the DVLA database to Europe, as a gesture of 'Goodwill', and 'Leading the way', only for the rest of Europe to say Thanks, and keep their info quiet... Look in Supra chat for "suddenly interesting handling". I would have preferred to take the Supra - the Porsche is on a limited 5k mile per year policy and I just did 20% of it. Now save her for track days and your laughing
hogmaw
what porsche do you have? I have great memories of playing with one while in my spra on an empty motorway in a hilly region of southern france last summer. It doesn't get much better than that
