Sheefa
I can get new UK Spec 4-pot calipers for £90 each and they're BRAND NEW! Inclusive of VAT. What do you think, good or is it better to go second hand and try and hunt for another bargain? Greg.
Pete
I'm confused. Why would you buy second hand if new Genuine Toyota is that price? Can you get me some at that price? Mine are dirty You'll want the rears too before fitting to retain proper brake balance.
Guru
Thats not too bad at all. Can you get the rest of the setup at good prices?

Sheefa
I'll try and get a few others guys. Think they can do the whole setup, but a little tight on money at the moment!!! I was going to do the fronts first Pete. But yeah, will check the complete kit too in case it does upset the balance. I thought it was a great price but wasn't sure. Sounds like a steal. They also come with a 12 month warranty btw.
Pete
You're SURE they're genuine Toyota? Some of the other bargain purchasing decisions you've made recently haven't worked out so well...

Sheefa
You're SURE they're genuine Toyota? Some of the other bargain purchasing decisions you've made recently haven't worked out so well... Ha, ha, ha, ha! The response to this post will be intersting. 2 x Front 4-pot Calipers 2 x Rear 2-pot Calipers 2 x Front UK Disks 2 x Rear UK Disks 4 x Brake Pads. Package price including VAT £850. All parts with a 12 month warranty. Apparently, they're not genuine Toyota! They're made by Budwegg but to exact UK OEM specifications. http://www.budweg.co.uk/ Darn it. Stay clear? Pete
They're recon units by the look of it. "Budweg have been re-manufacturing brake calipers since 1978." If it looks too good to be true.... I'm not going to say they're bad without looking at the product though. I'm sure they ok.
Jake
Obviously I'm not going to tell you that Jake until I've sorted out myself I guess it's some small mickey mouse outfit if you're worried the supply is that limited. I don't need to upgrade to UKs anyway, I've already got proper brakes on my car. I was asking in case you were gonna come up with one of the companies that folks have thought could supply bargain UK brakes in the past - but it always turned out they couldn't. Sheefa
Thanks Jake. They are reputable mate - they have a flashy website I was actually going to enquire first for other members anyway to see if they had other stock, in case these were limited OEM ones. Obviously they're not.
Jake
It's Brakes International - again! They never have any stock The prices are, IIRC, for exchange. This company has been discussed many times in the past mate. That's why I was asking where you getting them from, we could have saved you wasting your time. They will also not take broken or cracked housings, I think you will find.
