Jurgen-Jm-Imports
whats the spec of the car mate ??? most people bring rx7 from japan and dont tune them and disaster is just around the corner its happen to me before they need to be tuned as they are fragile engines. gjp
I have heard that you need to remap the engine even if you have only put an induction kit on, so do be very carfull. An engine rebuild is also needed about every 50-60000 miles at a cost of £2500 Bloody nice car though. http://www.rxmotors.co.uk/
Tom
Mileage on the rex? has it been rebuilt?
H7ERO
Not starting when warm is a sign of poor compression on a rotary engine (ie when everything has expanded to operating temps there is little or no compression - but starting when cold is ok) first thing most specialists will do is a compression test as this is a good indicator of the engine wear i think you can do this at home with a compression tester but you need to take an average reading the procedure should be up on mazda rotary club as will the tollerance values good luck mate:d - my best mate life was ruined by a 7 i dont think he will ever recover LOL:) hes still rebuilding it!
