tbourner
I drove pretty slow in the Supra, always obeyed limits in towns and stuff (much to the disgust of cars behind it seemed), and only really went 80 ish on the motorway. I only did silly leptons a few times, a couple of races with TVRs and such, once on my own on an empty m-way. I actually drive faster now I've got a Yaris!!! I drive like a loon around roundabouts and stuff (cos there's no fear! ), and usually rag it when I'm not trying to 'up' my mpg reading!! BUT, the reason I loved having a 180mph car was the way it drives - people always come up with the same old line: "Why have a car that goes that fast when the limit is 70?" My answer: "Drive a Yaris at 70, and then drive a Supra at 70; you'll realise why people choose the Supra."
Pig
I say that the shorter amount of time your on the road the less chance you have of getting caught speeding. And no, going the speed limit is not an option. (unfortunatly thats not my saying anymore as i have too many points now)
Gazboy
Well it was always going to be an N/A owner who'd ask this question

Sheefa
I don't actually drive that fast mate. Rarely above 110mph on the motorways thats for sure. The thing I find with a Supe is you don't need to be bombing it down the freeway or through a rural village for others to know it's a fast car. The majority of people recognise it's damn quick. Of course, we're only talking about TTs here.
Terminator
I couldn't have been going that fast officer, I was stuck in second gear.

Max Headroom
Ok so its about acceleration not speed, it is quicker to get to 70 in a Supe(NA or TT) than say a fiesta. Going really fast at 2am in the morning on an empty motorway, maybe, these days even at 2am the motorway is not really clear. Travelling at 170 leptons in the dark, do you know whats 5 miles up the road? Thats the distance travelled over 2 mins

And i belive you are talking about people recognising TT every 2 months when those are finally out of garage for a short amount of time?
