Going fast on the public highways

That's what the car was designed for, it's an awesome autobahn stormer, and it does it with ease.

When I worked in Europe I used to look forward to the drive home after a weekend in the UK. When it's late at night, there's no traffic on the road, and you're averaging 140mph, and off the clock on the straights, you really appreciate the car. You also get a new appreciation for the cost of petrol, but it's worth every penny.

What's the point in having a Supra and only using it weekends to drive to a car park and discuss you're latest 'bling' addition to the engine bay?

I guess anyone who buys a fast road car must buy it mainly cos it goes fast otherwise what would be the point. A sports car is designed to be driven fast otherwise you may as well buy yourself a Ford fiest or something else to while away the miles in.

Thats not to say you have to exceed the speed limits of course.

Getting up to them quickly is just as much fun and dont forget more accidents happen overtaking.

With a lesser powered vehicle, you are in that danger area for longer hence a higher chance of not making the overtake safely.

Of course from a point of view of complete safety we should never even set foot inside a fast car then we could never go too fast.
