B*****d kids

Nicked two of my tyre valve caps again. This time they got two nice shiney ones, before they just nicked the crap black plastic ones though.

I know it's one of the kids on our little culdesac, but just don't know which of the little fookers it is. I'll keep an eye out for a kid with shiney valve caps on their bike.

My lodger had 3 sets nicked off his MR2 during the summer!!!

I caught a group of kids down by his car trying to take the last of four shiny TRD ones and walked all four of them round to their parents houses :) - They were bricking it big time - the first mother went absolutely balistic and grounded the kid for a week! apparently he'd been in trouble for exactly the same thing before...

We've both got the spinning siver anti-theft valve caps now and they seem to do the trick - well worth the £12 IMO

'Tis the season to be merry :)

1. Go down ya local Shiney Shiney valve cap wholesalers,

2. buy a ton of the fookers(as they probably won't cost much that amount),

3. put them in back of dumper truck,

4. park dumper truck at kids front door,

5. Knock at kids front door and when he answers, unleash your Fury and bury him alive in all that shiney stuff. He won't be doing that again!

They will just snip the valves off with cutters and take the caps off at their leisure later on.

Spray a batch of black plastic ones silver and replace when needed, it also makes them easy to spot on the offending BMX.

It's a sad sign of the times when valve caps have to emply the same sort of technology as locking wheel nuts:

Pikey scum.

Seriously is annoying but I think it's more just kids nicking them cos it's easy... Those are the ones I've got and they look really good... :)

I had some titanium ones that resembled pistons, the ring grooves were so sharp they cut my fingers putting them on the tyres, never mind taking them off.

Despite using copper slip, I had to trash them to eventually get them off to check the pressures.

Can't be bothered with the fuss any more, and just use "OEM" caps.

That just made me think:d , special key mechanism that brings out lots of little razor blades around the cap. That'll sort the b'stards.
