GordonT
My MKIV has what looks like Factory fit Bilstein shocks, does anybody know where to get replacements without going near main dealers. I searched the bilstein web site and found a place in the states that could do them for about $100 for a pair excluding shipping, although im not sure if its definately the right ones. Gordon T. GavinL
I think Leon Green supplies and fits these shocks...branners can you confirm/help
Branners
He does, but the Billies are in short supply. Bilstein have stopped making them for the Supra now so Leon has to track them down second hand. They are a good shock though so if you can get them from the states at a reasonable price (add 27% to the price to allow for customs tax) then they are worth going for, if not then give Leon a call on 07956 285219, but bear in mind there is a slight wait on them at the moment. Guest Ash
Their TrakSpax versions look good. Yours, J
Paul Booth
They always looked good but a few good forest stages and they overheated, with the consequent reduced performance and life. A few of the auto-test boys (the ones who couldn't afford Bilsteins) used to use them as their activities were V short and on perfect tarmac. I might be persuaded they're ok for track (good quality, predictable surface) but I'd need some real convincing to use them for fast-road, particularly with the roads around the Cotswolds. Guest Ash
Thanks for the info, Paul. I'm not having much luck with suspension. Just as I got the HKS kit Chris Wilson came on the list saying it was cr*p. So I sold it on. Now, just as I am thinking, hmm maybe a set of TrakSpax, Paul reckons they are sh*te. Sod it, I think I'll go ahead and get the full Whiteline kit from Aussie-land. I know Rich had the kit fitted and he seemed pleased with it. Does anyone else have any info before I take the plunge? Anyone interested in a group buy through SHOP!! ??? Yours, J
Alex
What about Ohlins or Tein? Don't they make some decent kits?
