Resetting Aristo V300 ECU - same as MKIV?

I've just gone to reset the ECU on the Aristo and not sure if I got the right ones!

 

I went through all the guides for the MKIV as I'm assuming this is pretty much the same thing and removed the two EFI fuses, one little one and the one big black one, as you can see in the pic below:

The thing is though that after leaving them out for a few minutes and putting them back in, the radio still has all it's settings - I'm guessing that should have been wiped though as well as the clock?

 

Just wondered if it had actually reset, if not I guess I'll have to remove the negative off the battery and leave that off for a bit, would that set off the aftermarket alarm though?

just remove the negative battery terminal, always works

Thanks guys, will see how she runs the next few days and if no difference will drop the negative terminal off for an hour

Not necessary for an hour but it just means I can walk away and leave it while I watch a film or something

 

Think I once read somewhere that it helps if you put your foot on the brake as it will drain the charge that's left in the system very quickly!
