Gamer
Fairy muff Anybody know who would sell the C's shifter over here all I want really is a price to compare ...
terribleturner
You could always get the BM from Whifbitz as it's the same sort of price. Unless Paul's prices are without vat. A fair few people have them so they must be decent (i hope).

Homer
Sorry to go against the flow but I can't recommend the B&M. Mine had one on when it came across from Japan, due to excess wear in the B&M adaptor it slowly caused the shalf to selector shaft to wear out in aorund the bearing area. Gearbox now may need a small rebuild James, the gear knob in Sabrina's car is not standard and FAR longer than th stock one! The only difference I noitced going back to stock was a smoother shift and slightly longer throw.

Gamer
I did some reasearch and I have found some people who had problems with the B&M. I have yet to find any who have had any issues with the C's. Thanks for the links Nic, I will check them out and let you know.
Gamer
Here is a picture of the C's Short shifter for anyone who cares. I'll be sporting this along with a nice TOM's white gear knob (Cheers Nic)
Thorin
I've driven a car with the BM shifter and wasn't that impressed actually. Thought the stock shift throw felt better, it's not exactly that long to begin with is it.

imi
I've heard of this problem before so you are not alone... Interesting, can you post some symptoms & solution? I have been running a B&M shifter ever since I bought the car over 2 hrs ago...been on the car longer and no problems so far - touchwood. Daston
can I ask a stupid question??? What does the short shifter do? Is it like tiptronic? or does it just change gear faster?
lockys96
dont know how similar the b&m shifter is from a lexus is200. but on my bro's car, the gears seem just too close for my liking, and you need to be arnold to get it in reverse so whens the conversion going in then joe
Alex
B&M = Poo C's = Cool
imi
B&M = Poo C's = Cool I must then try the C Short shifter as I find the B&M to be excellent for gear changes (I am only concerned about Homer's post about the damage that it allegedly can cause). Then again, why would whifbitz go on selling a product like that?
