Daston
haha thats funny as TVR never officaly made one to sell as far as I know, and the ones they did have were basicly prototypes
Gamer
haha thats funny as TVR never officaly made one to sell as far as I know, and the ones they did have were basicly prototypes Good thing too because it is ugly.

RedM
Ugly? It's worse than that. It looks like it crashed into a chav-spec body kit factory while covered in glue. Put it this way. The Sultan of Brunei hasn't got one and he's got more money than he could ever spend.

supRo
I think I saw it at a GT race in Silverstone - It was spanking everything else on the tarmac - GT Ferraris, Porsches, Saleens.... Might have not been a speed
Daston
yeah the S12 ran in the British GT and was nigh unstopable however it was too unreliable so they used that tech to creat the speed 6 engine and ran the Tuscan R
Gazboy
haha thats funny as TVR never officaly made one to sell as far as I know, and the ones they did have were basicly prototypes The advert is genuine, and that is the genuine Cerbera Speed12. 247mph is a total guess Jamie, any number attached to the car is specualtion, myth & unproven. It was plucked out of the air by Wheeler because the Big Mac did 241mph a few years earlier. Had the car been built this year it's top speed would have been 253mph, if you get my drift. Pig
As said above, i know the car is real. What he has written about buying as an empty shell is also real. It took shed loads of engines till they got to the "buket head" that didnt blow up!

i-macca
I don't think TVR did ever find out the power of it before they sold it on, as rumour has it when they put it on their dyno, it pretty much lunched it. And yes, it is real and TVR did make the one road-legal one. I seem to remember the boss of TVR at the time was going to use it, but on driving it for the first time said it was too much of an animal to drive on the road and it sat around for a couple of years until they sold it on?
