chris aka fonz
Well here are a few pics of my new toy ! picking her up when we get a nice day , im into my track days and have wanted one for a while , not too everyones taste but i like them . Its a 2002 135 sport Elise , would like the Audi conversion at some point or the Type R , my friend has just had his fitted with a Supercharged Type R engine , Dyno'd at 309 bhp in an 800 ish kilo car and yes it can put it all down . It doesnt seem too upset the balance of the car neither. Whilst this isnt a patch on the performance i get from the Supra its fun in a completly different way . http://img292.imageshack.us/img292/2959/p9240098bn8.png http://img470.imageshack.us/img470/6192/p9240101mq6.jpg http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/3500/p9240099ci6.jpg http://img458.imageshack.us/img458/7339/p9240100ue1.jpg http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/2619/p9240102ow4.jpg

Rayman
Nice, the supercharged type r engined one sounds awesome, did anyone see clarkson on top gear drive the ariel atom, thats basically the same supercharged engine and together with light as a fart bodyshell its certainly looked like it shifted some and sounded mighty fine too. I like superchargers tho, ive heard it described as a car stuck in reverse tho by Evo magazine so i guess its not to everyones taste! For future reference which company does the type r conversion? He had his done at Maidstones sports cars Kent , all in it cost nearly £15,000 , he has the Jackson Racing supercharger ! And yes it does sound like a car stuck in reverse Sinclaires do the conversion too , a little cheaper

Bobbeh
Well their sticking 2JZ's in S2000's, a bit of cutting here and there and hey presto, 700bhp elise with big single!! But the S2K is front engined with a lot of room under the bonnet where that is mid engined and crampt. I would say it looks great, but its yellow with green stripes! chris aka fonz
Thanks for the replies , Yes i no its yellow with green stripes but i wanted it to stand out , ive always had metallic grey and silver cars and fancied a change . The green stripes will probably go after a while as i want to go for a yellow and black look , bit like a wasp .
