markjodrell
Is there anybody in the Midlands area who does headlight refurbs? I have seen Gzaerojons and his are fantastic, its just that hes located down south. Anyone know where Club Member lovatt is located and are his refurbs as good as Jons ? Well too be fair m8, they are not that bad , on a 1996 pre facelift. Saw on the net somebody used Turtle was safe scratch remover from Halfords and it worked quite well, might give it a go later, i tried a bit of Halfords colour restorer , didnt do much really. Is the discolouration on the outside or inside normally, I have been told its mostly on the inside. I quite fancied Jons facelift style lights to modernise the car, its just the time factor posting off and waited for them to return.....call me impatient Is there anyone around Stoke-on-Trent who does this sort of thing ??? Supragaz
I was gonna say, I used Autosol chrome cleaner on mine and after the 3rd application they came up like new. Worth doing while your waiting to have them re-furbed. Personally I prefer the real deal (facelift or Uk Glass) headlights
imi
Personally, i'd send it to Jon - he has done so many and is apparently worth every penny. You might find this informative Refurbed lights gone wrong
Matt _Aero top_
Jon should send you some lights up to you without you sending yours down to him . He is a trusting bloke so all toy have to do is send your old ones back to him ASAP ! his order books are quite full at the moment i think though . colsoop
Im sure if you spoke to Gzaerojon he might be able to send a set out to you in advance then you could fit them and send yours back. Then you aren't off the road at all.
