The first MR2 turbo actually had the Gen 2 engine Yup your right, Generation 1 (Maf bsed) found in ST165's, Generation 2 (Maf based) Rev 1 and 2 MR2 Turbos and also in Celica ST185 GT4's and the Generation 3 (Map based) found in Rev 3 plus and the Celica ST205 GT4's.
