jeremyh
Hi all, Just a couple of quick questions about my new TT (I will post pics in due course): I urgently need space for a few computers to fit in the back of my car. My questions are do the back seats fold down and if so, how, and how on earth do you move the front seats forward? There seems to be a lever of some kind on both driver and passenger seats but I'm buggered if I know where I should be pulling/pushing it Thanks in advance! flukey-lukey
lol...no the back seats dont fold...but they do come out in one piece with a few 10mm bolts quite easily. The drivers seat may be electric and the adjuster is on the base on the right hand side...the passenger seat isnt electric and will have a lever on the base on the left habd side. hope this helps, and welcome
Alex
Pull the knob on the top of the rear seats and push the seat back fwd. The handle under the seat lifts up and you roll the seat....
Graham S
In the middle at the top of the rear seat is a knob, pull it and the seat will fold down. Front seats, passenger has a lever underneath and driver seat has a electric switch on the side nearest the door at the bottom, or do you mean forward to get someone in the back? If so there is a handle at the bottom of the seat at the rear if you lift it up the seat back should fly forward!

jeremyh
Thankyou! I only picked the TT up yesterday, drove back in the dark, drove to work in the dark, you get the idea. I can see myself standing outside tonight in the cold with a bunch of knobs

jeremyh
Thing is, looking inside the boot yesterday it seems that some insane amount of space is taken up by the spare wheel and tools, whilst I actually get about 10" high of useful space. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm only new
ivan
It's enough to get a couple of PCs and TFTs in though - especially if you remove the roller blind and put the back seats down.
jeremyh
When I say about fitting PC's in the back of the car, to be specific I will need space for eight of the Shuttle PCs, the little box-sized computers. No monitors thank goodness

bungy
And there was me thinking that big black button in the centre of the rear seat was a targetting scope for beaten M3's.

jeremyh
Haha, got them all in! Thanks for the advice - there was indeed a little knob or plunger of some kind in the middle of the rear seats, pressed that and hey-presto the whole rear seat went down. Thanks again
