Guest mk47
ive recently got hold of photoshop but found myself USELESS at this. my mrs has got an assignment where you have to recreate a few scenes from a movie, and then create characters using crafts materials, take photos of them and then recreate the scenes from a movie using real things.. i.e. my bed and cartoony characters in position like the real movie.. hope i make sense so far. so far she has done all the rough sketches, has all the models made, and has screen grabs for each scene. it has to look something like on here: http://www.cse.dmu.ac.uk/~mjdean/channels/HexComix/pipe%20fiction/index.html can anybody help? i have all the pics required

Jake
Problem is that the original characters are in the pics, so when you place the cartoon character into the pic you can still see the original character behind because they're not the same shape or body postions. You could do it but you'd have to 'shop the real people out first and that would take (me) too long.

Whats the easiest way around it? bearing in mind the photoshop knowledge is very limited. turns out the door/desk and laptop for example in that scene need to be photoshopped in too. it turns out theres way more to it than what i originally imagined. Suprash
I think maybe you need to sit down with someone who knows how to use it.......
Jake
Sounds like a nightmare. It would take me hours to do all that. Maybe one of the more experienced GFX guys will have a suggestion. Good luck
Guest mk47
I think maybe you need to sit down with someone who knows how to use it....... i would if i knew anyone who could. the teacher we have emailed on numerous occasions and he has not paid much attention at all. weve never actually used photoshop at the uni so that makes it even harder. Sounds like a nightmare. It would take me hours to do all that. Maybe one of the more experienced GFX guys will have a suggestion. Good luck I know it really is a bloody nightmare. Thanks for the attempt though mate definately owe you a beer or 2 some day!

You could just extend the background across, it wont look pretty but it take matter of seconds
