Bob
Finished installing them tonight, but something seems rather amiss. The front seems to have been lowered by about 50 - 60mm and the rear seems to have, if anything, raised up even higher! Pics attached, can people let me know if this is normal and they will end up settling sooner or later? Cheers
jamesmark
There was a thread about this on a black supra, it was something like they were fitted either upside down or rears were fitted on the fronts.
Ewen
There was a similar post to yours last year....ended up that the front springs were put on the back and vice versa ?? Edit....beaten by a younger, quicker but probably uglier forum member:p
DamanC
Yup, thats not right. However it can take a good couple of weeks for it to settle, go and take it round the block a couple of times and see if it makes a difference.

Andy Supra
It's like me whacking new wheels on at weekend to realise the directional patterns and the lefts and rights all needed swapping so had to jack it all back up, put old wheels back on and switch over... Bob
Or, failing that, from Bobs lol, cheers mate! At least I'm helping others I've given up now - I'm off to Thailand for two weeks next Friday, so the sodding thing can sit on the drive til January. Bob
On the plus side, I'm getting quite well aquainted with my suspension - managed to change the rear springs in just over 2 hours last night Now to change the fronts round, then redo the rears On a downwards note, I noticed that one of my rear drop-links has a small split in the rubber and is leaking grease. Am I right in thinking it's new drop-link time?

Am I right in thinking it's new drop-link time? It'll probably last for ages. Horrible temporary fixes include cleaning up the outside of ths split boot with brake cleaner and sealing it in a cocoon of silicone selaer, or even nastier, wrapping it with cling film. A new link will be required is the long term prognosis, though.

Bob
Another question: on the rear shocks I have foam / rubber thingys that fit inside the rubber sheath, yet on the front I have none. Sould there be some on the front as well?
