Toyboy
that Toyota have produced is - what ? Have they made a car that comes near it, performance wise ?
Shaun.
I liked my Celica Carlos Saintz ST185 (only 440 UK ones) .. not the same performance but held the road like glue. It was a changed beast when not on stock boost of 0.5 bar and on 1.3 Shaun.

tbourner
Toyota Yaris WOOHOO!!! Celica GT-Four must be the closest big production car?
Alex
Lexus SC430. Soarer. Those are the two closest imo. The GT4 is too small. But I'd far rather have a GT-One

garethr
Soarer, and 2000GT both remarkably good cars.True.... but you can buy a Soarer for less than 100 grand
Guest msjeal
Maybe not the same in terms of size....but the mr2 turbo gives all the thrills in terms of speed and arguably even better handling than the supra. Plus the engines are bullet proof 2!!
Chris Wilson
MR2 turbos are fast and very cheap, but I would argue against that they handle as well as a Supra. They are very crude, suspension wise, with McPherson struts all round. Nothinng like as sophisticated as the all round double wishbones of the Supra MKIV. SteveR
True.... but you can buy a Soarer for less than 100 grand Seriously a 2000GT fetches ~£100k?? I'll scrap my idea of having one for the occasional summer weekend drive then lol.

I think they only made about 300 or so.... and it did appear in a Bond film
