RobSheffield
I am quite new to Ebay, but have recently registered and had a good look around. I am looking at purchasing a runaround while my supra is offroad having the Single conversion done, and something has begun to amuse me. It is the ever optimistic nature of sellers! The advert will usually run as 'J plate xxx Diesel'. When you enter the advert the mileage is invariably 150 - 300k The description humours me when they say things like 'cambelt snapped' 'head gasket gone' 'none runner' 'blown engine' etc etc, and there will be a bid somewhere aound £200, and then ever hopeful, 'Reserve not met' Are they expecting some fool to buy there high mileage scrapper for mega money I have lost count of the number of these on there at the moment! Todd
Count your blessing these jokers let you know in the description, plenty of sellers that don't disclose these things and hope that you wont pick up on anything when you turn up to take it away!
