JustGav
My dad has decided he wants a torque spanner for christmas, he has set me a limit of £40.. now this obviously puts snap-on and the like out of the question. He only needs it for working on his classic car, so isn't high usage, in fact I only think he wants it so that he can say he has one in his collection... Any ideas... Miguel
We knew too , just some of the "teen aged staff" in Halfrauds might get a bit confused
JustGav
I'd probably end up with a talk-ing spanner... or wait would that be the staff at halfrauds?
Miguel
It would not surprise me in the least *grin*. TBH Their range of tools are quite good VFM and are basically Sykes-Pickavant stuff re-badged. They do 3 sizes of Torque wrenches: 40-200Nm £49.99 8-60Nm £49.99 60-300Nm £59.
JustGav
Well given that from memory, I think the highest he has to use is around 40lb/ft, the entry level one will do the job nicely...
