OT but I used to work on the BAE sites at Samlesbury, Prestwick and Brough, used to be great, can't remember the guys name but he was well sound and worked in Airbus - we worked on the migration to Newco a couple of years back!

Yup, not me - I'm at Warton

What were you doing at Samlesbury Steb?

Mike

Coming back to work after sorting out my missus ( and not in the fashion you're thinking;) ), she'd just smashed her civic into the back of a van.

I'm a machinist, I work in the the machine shop 3B at the back end of the site..

Saw a black one today on-site at BAE systems Samlesbury parked outside the tool room. Just wondering if it's anyone on here.

I know the one you mean, it's been around a few years now, I remember seeing it 3-4 years ago when I was an apprentice working at Samlesbury site. Always looked a good example. Remembered having a look around it to try and figure out if it was NA or turbo! I'm at Warton now and don't see any MKIVs around. Think I've seen one on site the whole time I've been there!

I didn't see the reg. but a lad who was following me last night, overtook him, and said it was something like P* SUP.

You're not looking hard enough then ;) There's at least two of us. Mine's hidden in a safe car park miles from anywhere, and davids in another car park - miles from anwhere but not safe ;)

Ah well, I've seen a silver one parked up by the bank once at Warton but other than that. I'm in that area around 5 hanger so I don't get to see much of the rest of the site. You might see another around in the near future if I finally manage to find one I want! You might remember me from the Illuminations meet last year, had the red mkiii?

I remember talking to a mkIII owner but can't remember what colour it was :imsorry: It may well have been you but my memory isn't what it used to be.

I'll keep my eyes open for yours when you get it ;)
