Ark
HAHAHA, I'm with Stealth on this. Most people don't realise that IP addresses are logically allocated and can be changed at a moments notice with no one knowing any different. They aren't like your postcode or some other fixed value It's also not possible for an email account to accidentally acquire emails for someone else's address unless they typed the wrong details - these things don't operate on fuzzy logic. The girl has got the wrong address. Simple. Which proves she's as stupid as she looks, since she hasn't twigged after all these months. Anyway, back on topic - there is no need to be nasty. Just reply saying "I am not the Damon you are looking for" in true Alex Guinness style.
imi
Anyway, I agree with Geoff. There's no need to hurt somebodies feelings unnecessarily.

SO why do I keep getting emails in my junk mail box that are clearly addressed with a different email name but with the majority of the letters in it right? Ark
SO why do I keep getting emails in my junk mail box that are clearly addressed with a different email name but with the majority of the letters in it right? Simple. SMTP email permits you to fake the important fields so an email sent to your email address to then have a new "TO:" header field superimposed so it looks like it's actually for a different address. The original email is still technically addressed to you however.
Jake
SO why do I keep getting emails in my junk mail box that are clearly addressed with a different email name but with the majority of the letters in it right?Spammers have been doing that for years. I bet it's only ever spam emails you get like that, not misdirected personal ones. Your real email address is effectively in the BCC list but a similar address to yours is in the shown recipients to trick you into opening it. Ark
I bet I could find their address OK, we've been though all this. So, if you have access to the information and resources that will reveal this information, you should NOT be the sort of person who would advertise this fact on a public forum, and certainly not publish the address, which means you can't prove your point... So what was the purpose???
