geoffvalenti
From what I understand, she doesn't seem to be sending you the emails maliciously. She's probably just made a genuine mistake with your email address. Either email her directly, thank her for her correspondence but tell her she must have made a mistake because you don't recognise her, or just add her to your junk mail filter. Regardless how you feel about her looks, there really is no reason to be nasty to her!

SupraStar 3000
PMSL! Class thread I say, pretend to be her "Daman", but tell her your going through some major life changes. Your into extreme body mutilation and have had your penis removed and are waiting the full sex change. Also, you have joined a new age cult that believes the world needs anarchy and have devoted your time and your soul to the "final solution". SupraStar 3000
Thanks Daman. I've now changed my stance on the whole yashmac/burqa thing: they should definitely be compulsory!

how_supra
I don't think you should be nasty to her. Tell her that she's made a mistake and has the wrong person. IF she keeps sending you emails, then tell her she looks like she's been run over by helicopter and should seek professional help. Get her IP address from the email too [if its hotmail, you can do this], and find out where she lives.

how_supra
yes you can.............in hotmail go to Options Mail display settings Message headers advanced Most of the emails will give you an originating IP address. Go to google do a search on IP address search, and it will then tell you alot of the time where the IP address is registered [sometimes its a third party like NTL othertimes its not]

Lewis
My IP - 86.142.250.*/66.249.3.* (NAT - 192.168.2.65) a)Name: stealth2 IP Address: 192.168.1.65 Location: Lambeth (51.500N, 0.117W) Network: Unknown b)Name: *.*.stealthhosts.com IP Address: 66.249.3.* Location: Lambeth (51.500N, 0.117W) Network: NAMEI-NET-002 That's me doing it on myself and the nearest I can get is over an hour away. I never questioned that you could get an IP from an email, shit, I'll ping you from the FBI if you like and send an email from 212.140.233.247, you still wont have a clue where I live. Much more reliable to look in my profile

Lewis
fair point...........I'll get my coat. I have still managed to get an originators address from it in the past............ You will have got the registrant address, either from the domain or the netblock owner, a whois will give you that.
how_supra
For example................whoisIP....it displays the address. Now Im positive I did this for some ebay scammer back in April, who sent me an email with just "ha ha". It wasn't that site specifically but I did get her address some how. Lewis
"This feature provides owner-registrar information on a particular IP address, useful when you do not have the domain information needed to use the Whois dns feature."
