The Restorer
They take about 10-15 minutes, before your realise they're heating up.
CJ
It wont be heated seats as these only came with Euro / UK spec. It is probably a fog light switch.

Snooze
It enables movement of the gearshift lever from P position when the engine is not running so that the car can be moved. Oh - no - wait - ignore that - wrong newbie question! Sorry!
Ewen
I've got an original looking switch either side of the snow and trac buttons (facelift) that turn on the left and right AM front parking sensors. They have AM stickers on them. I'd love to know what the switches did originally.
Marty
It engages the hyper drive so you can create a 'rift' in space and travel very long distances in a very short time, thought everyone knew about it ...

SupraAyf
If its an aftermarket switch then could it be the activation switch for the ETTC. I have one like that but its next to my power mirror switch! EDIT Got to admit that I didn't even know I had the ETTC function until I read one of these threads! SteveR
I fitted my rear fogs switch there. Figured it was tidier than chopping the dash, and undo-able as it did it to one of the blanking plates next to the "slip cont" button (my car doesn't have active aero/whatever else lives down there). RobSheffield
In all seriousness guys, its really of no use speculating on what it 'could' be, if it can be identified what it looks like and what it is wired into, then we might get somewhere
