Hello nice looking car there mate - love the wheels too.

You need some spats though to complete the set-up.

I really like those wheels bargain for 500 notes I say.

there is no way a 50 bhp difference between uk & jap and as someone mentioned earlier (Paul Laing I think or dude ? ) there was an agreement in japan not to produce cars over 280 bhp.So the stats of a lot of high end Jap performance motors read the same.If you look at Supras,Hinda nsx and afaik some of the newer skylines they all show 280 bhp - even though there are vast differences (over and above 280 bhp)

At the end of the day they are both Supras and I wouldnt mind either,I had a Jap 6 speeder TT and it was the fastest car I owned,I drove a UK car and it had a difference in character which was quite easily noted after you had been in it for 10 minutes.

I preffered the Jap spec (but maybe it was because I was used to it as I owned one).

Welcome to the boards - good bunch of people on here, tonnes of people like C.W., DUDE,PaulE,Gaz etc etc... who frequent these boards to help you with anything from Bling to Bang.

Definetly wasn't me mate, but i doubt there 280bhp stock as Thorin got nearly 400bhp from his, exhaust, de-cat etc. Can't believe those wheels only cost £500, thats how much 1 of mine cost!!!

Can't wait to see it Steve, i have a stock spoiler here if you ever want one

Paul, you know that the FMIC wont do anything for BHP, if anything it can drop slightly (were only talking 1/2bhp), it will only be the boost controller that allows you to turn the boost up. ;)

A FMIC does give more bhp because it's allowing cooler air into the car, but the main thing is it keeps the car cooler and keeps the car's engine sweet :)

If you look at the dyno graphs on Supraforums from Bpu cars running stock intercoolers, then adding fmic's there about 30-50bhp difference.........

I think you should be less inclined to believe what you read on SF mate. After speaking with 2 different mechanics, both have said that FMIC will give better cooling but they wont raise BHP, certanaily not by 50bhp, thats just laughable. Its more of a safety feature for your engine while running higher than stock boost, if anything the turbos have a higher volume of air to push or even more amounts of air to push due to the increased size of the FMIC, this will result in a slight drop, if not than staying the same. Although for every degree dropped you can squeeze 1 or 2 bhp out, so I think this just might counter act the drop from moving more air.

Thats what I was told anyway, now we'll just have to wait for someone who claims to know what their on about......
