cowboy bebop
I haven't updated here in a while, but the motor is finished/waiting to drop in, and the interior is complete. Right now I'm waiting on the widebody to come out of paint sometime this week, and the wheels to come back from powdercoating. w/ lines installed Interior coming together. 100% leather wrapped interior, every panel. I would love to have the budget and time to do something like this.... well done sir, I am looking forward to seeing your thoughts on how it drives. paul mac
not 100% sure about the dash colour but that motor looks 100% fookin awesome, luvin all the exhaust plumbing, what size/type of exhaust is it going to use, is it feeding twin intercoolers or both into one
cowboy bebop
Everything more or less is here for the assembly. The motor, trans, suspension, interior etc. are all ready to go in. I'm looking forward to getting the job done and getting it on the road. From when we stated until now, we're streamlined many of the processes in getting a Toyota V8 into the MKIV so possibly by this time next year we'll have the V8's on the stands lined up and ready to ship out to owners wanting to do the same swap. Thanks again! Eric
cowboy bebop
The real focal point of the seat are the the Sparco Milanos wrapped in the same medium red w/ black inserts. Here they are in a room full of interior parts. I'm only running a 3" exhaust on mine, I'm only looking for ~800-900rwhp solid. The intercooler is a dual in/dual out core with 2.5" ends. paul mac
now they look gorgeous that colour is starting to grow on me
Mike B
Liking the interior, and the dash, good stuff. The exhaust and inlet manifold are pretty close to each other.. as well as close to the radiator....you have any insulative / ventilation plans for the front of the motor? Daston
Holly V8 supra batman! That is damn fine! The US may not be able to make cars that go around bends but they sure know how to make and tune an engine that is a thing of buty and should be placed on a marbel stand so all can marval at it. Gaz Walker
Oh wow, I definitely love that interior now Did you have a budget for the build or was it a case of money no object?
cowboy bebop
It'll have to be something that's done on the fly. There are parts of the lines that will get heat wrapped if they run too close the exhaust. Once I see exactly how it sits in the subframe I can get a better idea of ventilation. cowboy bebop
Oh wow, I definitely love that interior now Did you have a budget for the build or was it a case of money no object? There was no sponsorship involved other than a good deal for the leather wrapping. The rest was paid for by working my ass off to get parts to the Supra community. This is going to be the company flagship and used to push the concept of the Toyota V8 in the MKIV platform. No stone is left unturned in the car at this point. I'll say this though, my next project will be a stock body low mile 98. The all out widebody show car is way too stressful. Eric
Tricky-Ricky
Fantastic work, and exceptional finish on those parts, i sure the whole project will be stunning, as said can't wait to see some videos:) and the full spec list, but i think it will read more like a small novel;) good luck with getting it finished soon.
